Group Shot (Neeva, Sylvie, Mi Sun, Sundari)

Someone asked which models know each other in my beach series. For the record, these four are my main and most popular beach models, and here they are in a very nice group shot likely looking at the boat.

There is a great variety of skin tones here, Sylvie's looks a bit dry and I will need to oil her up just a tad to match the others and to keep her from getting burned. Sundari's is a bit overexposed (just a tad) so I need to work with her as well. It is also a great comparison shot of shapes and styles, and a shot like this helps me balance skin effects and tones between models so they are consistent.

Depth of field on this shot was also tricky since the four of them presented a huge target field I wanted in focus from front to back. You see a lot of DoF shots with parts of a single model out of focus, and getting four of them in focus for a single shot is always a challenge. I could cheat and set DoF to the horizon, but we wouldn't get the beautiful soft blur effect on the background.
